I was relatively late to Ys fandom stretching back to 1987, really only becoming a fan of the series with Ys VI back in 2005 on the Playstation 2. Eva and I played Ys VIII together and she fell in love with the series too, so we were waiting eagerly for the english release of Ys IX.
